Sacramental Review

Listening Logo

Following on from the notice at the weekend, the Archdiocese of Dublin has launched its Sacramental Review process.

The Archdiocese is seeking the views of parents,  teachers, priests and parish personnel and the wider faith community on how we might improve the way we prepare and celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Communion and Confirmation.

As many people as possible are invited to take part in this online survey so that we can get a wide range of views.

In this short video, Archbishop Martin encourages your participation in the survey

You can read the letter from Archbishop Martin by clicking – Letter from Archbishop Diarmuid Martin

The online survey is open from February 4th to 25th 2019 and the links can be found below:

“The first human problem which the infant Jesus faced on earth was a lack of shelter. As Christians, our obligation to people who are homeless or poorly housed is unequivocal for it is Christ who is homeless: He is a room at the inn? the elderly couple in a damp house; He is the lone parent in a B&B; He is the Traveller moved on from a site. The Incarnation makes explicit God’s commitment to walking with humanity in joy and in suffering.”

As the issues with housing and the numbers presenting as homeless reach record numbers, the Irish Bishops’ Conference has released a Pastoral Letter on Housing and Homelessness. To read the full text of the Pastoral Letter on Housing and Homelessness, please click A Room at the Inn?
